andAfter almost 30 years helping families plan for their futures, it’s hard to imagine that I’d be embarking on a new start professionally, but that is exactly what our team and I are doing now that we have moved into our own brand-new office location.
More on that shortly, but first I’d like to reflect on all the hard work, resources, and people who helped us arrive here. First let me thank the current regional office and my colleagues, especially Christy, Dave, Dennis and Dianna who were instrumental in assisting us with the resources we needed to make this move possible. I’d also like to make special mention of Kim and George and their team who have provided countless materials and invaluable advice that has made not only our new office but our business plan, better prepared to facilitate and advise our clients. In my years working among and alongside some of the best advisors and directors in Windsor and Essex County, I have learned so much. I look forward to continuing to partner with many of those same colleagues in our new location.
To that end, I am excited to announce that Jean Deschenes has joined the Rock Harbour Wealth Management team as an associate advisor. Jean has been in the business for 20 years and brings with him a wealth of knowledge as well as a passion for assisting families in their planning. I have partnered many times with Jean in the past and have seen firsthand his enthusiasm; he will make an ideal partner for Rock Habour for many years to come. Both Jean and I are ecstatic to have this new space where we can collaborate alongside our other team members, and Laura Haggith themselves integral parts of our operation.
Reflecting on our team moving forward I am struck by the similarities and differences of each member that contributes to the strong team dynamic we enjoy at Rock Harbour Wealth Management. While each of us come from different backgrounds and brings different strengths, many of us have had similar experiences. It especially stands out to me that each of us has lost someone very special in our lives much too soon. We realize, through personal experience, that families never plan to fail, they simply fail to plan in some circumstances. It’s these experiences that contribute to the team’s energy for finding the right solution for each client and their family. I am confident that when you come to our new state-of-the-art office no matter who you deal with – in most cases it will be all four of us – you will feel that same energy and dedication. We want to offer a comprehensive solution and be the trusted team you turn to for all of your family’s financial planning needs.
Whether you are a prospective client coming to visit us for the first time, or a longtime client coming back to see us again we are very much looking forward to having you in our new space. I know that you will be welcomed warmly and have a positive experience each time you visit. We now have a space that matches the quality clients we have enjoyed serving for nearly 30 years, and we’re excited to share it with all of you!
