Michael R. Steffler, BA, CFP, CEBS
Michael began his career with Great-West Life in the group benefits division after graduating from the University of Waterloo in the Spring of 2012. Throughout his time at Great-West Life, he worked with business owners in the Windsor area to develop corporate strategies using their benefits plan. In 2018 Michael got individually licensed and began working for a local benefits firm in Windsor, then known as The Benefits Company, which is today HUB International a continued partner to Rock Harbour for benefits and pension clients.
Michael worked with Tim and Jean the partners of Rock Harbour providing support throughout his career dating back to 2012. In 2022 Michael became an equal partner in Rock Harbour. With designations in both corporate benefits and personal financial planning, he brings a wealth of knowledge to clients and helps develop a plan and strategy rather than just a production solution. Relationships with clients are of the utmost importance and getting to understand each client’s goals and motivations is how these plans are developed.
In his free time, Michael likes to travel with his wife Alyssa, and play golf with clients and friends as much as possible in the summertime. He loves the Windsor community and has resided in Windsor since moving here after completing school in 2012.
